My period is brown and goopy. Why?

i guess when u get around 2 checking it, the blood is dryed up and brown (all blood does that) nd its goopy i guess because of the clear sticky discharge that comes out, no worries its normal w/ a period and the pad name slips my mind at the moment sorry....
