i ve recently discovered that the gaskets on the carb were allowing air inside which i guess causes the engine to stall when i press the brakes in forward or reverse gear(manual brakes btw) which puts a load on the engine so i replace the gaskets but it still does the same thing now i got another problem the kickdown stays engage on takeoff and if you release the gas petal the rear end jerks which i knw isnt good for a trans too. i need to know what can be the problem of the engine dying when the brakes are applied in gear and solve my kickdown issue. the engine runs fine in neutral and revs great but in gear when the brakes applied it dies. can it be the timing, carb is too damage beyond repair which i hope not, or what can be the problem?

I am sixteen years old and I weigh 256 pounds at 6' feet tall. And I would like to lose 25-30 pounds by the end of the summer. At the beginning of this school year I weighed 238 pounds and was much happier. I did not change my lifestyle and still I gained dramatically in the course of one year. I know that people are going to tell me to go to a doctor right away. I have and they said there was nothing seriously wrong with my heart, and that I just have a fast heart rate. Resting heart rate can be between 80-100. According to other health professionals, I shouldn't even be alive during exercise. I installed civ4, civ4 warlords expansion, and civ4 beyond the sword expansion. I now have 3 shortcuts on my desktop (1 for each). Do I play these seperate or something? What kind of dirt bike should I buy?

It depends on what ya want to use the bike for as to what one you should get. You must know how to ride if you have had 4 bikes since 2001. If you are buying new then you can't go wrong really as all the brand name bikes are good and as long as you buy to suit the use then personally it is just up to you what one you want. I don't much like KTM bikes but heaps of people do and I know the crfr250r 2010 is a good bike but then so are the other brand 250f's like the Yammie and the kx. I would not really get a 2 stroke 250 unless you have a lot of experience as they are a lot to ride and the rider gets pretty tired in a race by the end racing one and they would not be all that good in the woods either. Maybe add what you want the bike for. Good luck anyway.

Why does my car randomly die?

I have a 1992 Buick skylark., 3.1L, V6, auto trans. I never know what is going to happen when I start my car. Sometimes it runs perfect, other times it will idle as high as 2000 rpm. Or it will die randomly. Usually when it dies I know that it is going to happen because the idle will bounce between 500 and 1000 rpm. I usually have to keep my foot in the gas when coming to a stop to prevent it from dieing once the idle starts to bounce. When the car is running normal, it idles around 750ish, no rpm bounce and runs great. I have replaced so far the ignition control module, and the tps (throttle position sensor) with no luck.

(vegetarian but i eat dairy and fish) i don't know if that has anything to do with it. i have for about a year been feeling like i'm in a constant dream almost. like i'm looking from the outside in and my mom said that is a sign of hypoglycemia since she had that same problem. so, i started eating only healthy stuff and i still feel the same. my memory is bad and i can barely tell the difference between a dream and a memory of even something that happened yesterday. after eating sugar, i would black out a little when i would stand back up from sitting down. i just wanted to know if this low cholesterol number has anything to do with hypoglycemia or something. is this number really that bad? why do i feel like i'm in some dream all the time. and i'm always tired even after only eating healthy. thank you for your help! :)

going through the loss of a parent can be so very hard....especially if you were close...it took me a year and a half before i could even talk about my mother with out crying my eyes out....it sounds as if you are having alot more physical symptoms than i did though....really the best thing you could possible do is seek medical advice, maybe they can get you some type of anxiety medication...it will probably make you feel like you are in your own little world for awhile, but it will help...good luck...and i am soo sorry...~hugs~

boxers are typically entergetic, however each one is different (i have one hyper one and one calm one) both of mine however do great with my tiny dachshund, they seem to know to play easier with him and to be gentle. if your boxer is raised around your yorkie i believe they will do just fine. you can always seperate them until you are comfortable leaving them together though

College without living in a dorm? Social life issues?

In the spring I will be finished with my time at a community college. I had myself prepared mentally that I was finally going to get out of this house and be with actual people when I transfer in the fall but my dad dropped a bombshell on me indirectly when somebody asked him if I was commuting to school, he said yeah it wouldn't pay to live on campus. Wait a minute. 40 minute drive everyday in the fall compared to the 20 minute drive I have now. Ridiculous. Plus, I was so high on getting out of here and actually meeting people. I feel as if when I go to cl its just that, cl. I get up, go to school, get through it and come back home. I attended a 4 year school for 1 year prior to CC and I felt isolated there because I commuted there and everyone else seemingly lived there and were close. It led me to a depression that year that made me drop out of there to the school I'm at now. And oh yeah, add the mental pressure that I have of never having a girlfriend at age 21. I was hoping getting out would mean I could finally break that barrier once and for all but if I'm stuck here I don't know if I can ever get over it. However, in order for somebody to catch it from you currently they pretty much have to touch the open pox. You should be keeping it all covered with a bandage while you are at school, which also helps it not be quite so sensitive and painful from the clothing brushing against it. Otherwise, it's best if you leave it open and uncovered. Unlike active chicken pox, you are not breathing out the chicken pox in your viral secretions. It's only in the open and weeping sores on your torso. Your friends may not have had chicken pox because they were immunized. That will help protect them. They may also simply not remember having it, since many children get it even before they start school. I wouldn't much worry about giving it to your friends. As long as you are careful not to touch the spot and then touch them, you will all be fine. When it heals you should not have any scars to show, providing you don't go digging in with your fingernails. I'm sorry to hear you are suffering through this, as shingles are just a real misery even for older folks. It can't be any more pleasant for you now. He will continue to drink if you keep allowing him. What that means is taking him back, allowing his excuses etc. He just spent seven years in jail and he will go back it he continues to break his probation. But, he just spent years in jail and now comes back to what? A record, no job, starting a new life, feeling like a failure. These are all reasons he may drink, but they are not excuses. Continued swelling and minor pain 4 weeks after circision?

Hi all, I'm 18 and I got circised June 3 due to phimosis. Now all of the stitches have fallen out except one, and the incision area is beginning to look more normal, though it's still all reddish. Anyway, I'm a little concerned about my glans and the bottom right-side of the incision below my glans. Those two parts are still swollen. I have not noticed any reduction of swelling of my glans since I removed the dressing applied after the op. The mouth of the glans has also remained swollen (it's widened) and has not changed at all, there is also additional minor stinging during and for a short period after urination in the mouth, but that pain has been there for 2 weeks and has not gotten worse. The bottom part that I mentioned above is swollen whenever I wake up in the morning and then goes down during the day. I put a light layer of gauze over my at night to make sleeping more comfortable and every morning there are a few little yellow, hardened, and sort of mucus-looking, stains on it. The head will very occasionally ache a little, and it sort of hurts for a second around the incision area on the top, when it swings around like when I'm walking. I have seen 4 different doctors since the op, the last one I saw about a 1 week and a half ago. They pretty much all said I was fine, two subscribed me addition antibiotics. I have finished a total of 4 different antibiotics. Am I okay?

First, I don't want people to get "contagious" confused with "heriditary"....I know that being fat or obese is heridiary. But, I also wanted to know if fat is contagious too. I started going to the gym and ironically, I started gaining more weight since I've been there. First of all its normal for your18 mo old to need attention. i know a 6 year old who ALWAYS needs attention. and i understand you practically have 2 babies!!! thats a lot! maybe hire somebody to help you. ask a family member (maybe mom) to stay w/ you for a while and help you. talk to your husband and maybe try a different schedule or something...hope this helps! and once youve got it all figured out take a day rent a hotel and go to the spa and hqve a day to yourself cus u need it! :)

Can you move the refrigerator/freezer right in front of the outlet so that it is doing the blocking? I know you said it has to stay in the dining room and you can't move it somewhere else (and why would you really want to keep yours on out of the dining room?!), but can you slide the entire thing a few inches to the side so that the fridge completely covers the outlet?

I am gathering from your avitar that you are caucasian(sorry if I'm wrong). If you are, your hair is not as resistant as ethnic hair and probably didn't need but maybe a few minutes at best with your relaxer. But, since the damage is done, go to a salon, or beauty school. Tell them what happened, and I am sure they will recommend a deep conditioner with protein. ABSOLUTELY no more chemicals on the parts of your hair that are already chemically treated, but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that. Have them try to even up your hair without making you look too hacked up and bald. I suggested a beauty school and salon. because the school is supervised by instructors and will be much cheaper than the salon. Good Luck!

Had my pier & beam foundation redone. Did not p inspection!!?

Remodeling and old house in a small town in Texas. We paid a contractor who has been redoing foundations in this area for 25 years. ( And his inspections have been ping. ) The house is sitting on blocks now. ( It was sitting on cedar stumps.) The inspector said that the house must meet requirement for footing in the 2003 IRC or provide an engineer letter stating that it is secure. What is he talking about? This whole town has pier and beam foundations sitting on blocks and also cedar stumps. I have done spent a fortune on this leveling now I am going to have to spend more?? Can someone help out in this matter? This is just the beginning with the permits. I also want to have the bathroom and kitchen remodeled. At this point I wish I would have never bought this house and am wanting to sell it as is. If I have to redo this foundation again, shouldn't all of the rest of the people in this town who have recently had inspections redo theirs as well?

Can you put cavity insulation into a cavity with some insulation already present.

The cavity in the outer house wall has some insulation attached to the bricks (blocks),polystyrene I think, but there is still a air gap.I was told by the workman who came to es the job, that I could have this gap filled with teflon coated beads after he had spoken to his boss on the phone.When I phoned his boss to inquire when they would be coming to do the work ,he denied ever saying that.I am confused as to wether this is practical or not.I am getting the insulation on a government Warmfront grant so they choose the contractor and I dont have any choice.

The doorknob lock malfunctioned, the door know wouldn't unlock (the deadbolt is fine), we removed the knob, both exterior and interior, but the internal lock mechanism won't unlock for us to pull the long portion out of the door. There is no hole in the door that would allow us to slide it out. Does anyone have a suggestion on how best to remove the mechanism? Nothing tried seems to work, scredriver to "fiddle" with the mechanism, etc. I'm afraid we'll have to call a locksmith to have it removed, which is an expense we would like to avoid. Thank you

My sun conure is so afraid of me! Yet she still flies onto my shoulder?

I own a sun conure which is about 9 years old now, and ever since a few years ago she's been getting so afraid of me, like she positively HATES me. She bites me all the time even when I'm trying to give her food or something. When I was single I used to launder my clothes just fine without fabric softener. My wife insists on buying and using it, but I notice no difference in the softness of the clothes. Make up the cake mix batter; stand the cup cones in muffin (cupcake) tins; and fill the cones up about 2/3 way. Then bake them according to the box directions, but start checking them halfway through - the cones have a tendency to crack:) After they're cooled, swirl the tops of the cones in some soft frosting to look like ice cream; and put sprinkles on top..... In December 2009 I purchased a necklace (and free gift) from Tiffanystore.org ,which, when received was not as advertised. I notified them (as per return policy) of my disatisfaction, they then offered a small percentage of the value and keep the necklace. As it was of no use to me, not being what I ordered, I declined. They upped the offer by a couple of pounds, which I again declined. They then supplied me with the address to return the items which is "Leon Lee, Room 417, Auxilary Building "D", Provincial Maternity and Child Health Hospital, West Guang Yuan Road, Bai Yun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, 510010, China" I would not have made the purchase had I seen this address in the beginning and therefore would not have been "ripped off". The goods were returned by Royal Mail International signed for Service. All attempts to deliver by Chinese Postal Service were unsuccessful and the goods have eventually been returned to me (ie today). Has anyone got any advise on how we can gain redress and at the same time preventing anyone else being conned by them.
